Studio 2 : Carol Howard-Killoran Born and raised in Arlington, Virginia, Carol made Canada her home in the early '80s where she practiced as an Intensive Care nurse for almost 30 years. Although experimenting in many media over the years, such as watercolors, acrylics and stained glass windows and panels, Carol is presently focusing her efforts on fused glass. Decorative as well as functional bowls, plates, wall plaques and jewelry pieces are all part of her current repertoire. Inspiration is drawn from the natural surroundings of her current home at Thorne Lake, Quebec where she is surrounded by the beauty and landscape of the Pontiac region. Carol has participated in many workshops on advanced fusing techniques and is also a participating artist in the Red Trillium Tour of West Carleton’s Fine Artists. Her work is displayed at Studio L’Artizan and Café 349 in Shawville, Quebec. Contact/studio information: GPS: N45 41.610 W76 22.324 |
