Artistic Approach
As a professional artist I have exhibited throughout the Pontiac and the Ottawa area.  I was recognised by The Ottawa Life Magazine in August 2005 as their feature artist.  The fall of 2010 had me travel to Italy for a 3-week painting experience, thus I am challenging myself with palette knifes and different colours.

To describe my artistic approach I would say that my work is energizing, inspirational. I no longer search for the perfect picture, I paint what I see, what I know. I work mainly in both watercolour and acrylics. I am constantly sketching and painting en pleine air when I can. I can visualize a painting before my brush touches the canvas.  About two years ago I began working with black canvases, it allows the colour to immediately excite me and I can feel the painting as it comes to life. My brush strokes are big, bold and colourful; my paintings are a reflection of my life and of me.
